IMPORTANT NOTICE
YOUR VOICE MAIL SERVICE IS BEING UPGRADED!
El Paso County Telephone Company is going to transfer your voice mail service to new equipment on February 27, 2007.
When you access your voice mail service for the first time, on the new equipment, you will receive voice prompts to set up your account.
To access your voice mail service, dial 683-2000. If you are calling from your home phone, you will automatically be logged in to the system.
If you are not calling from your home phone, you will be asked to enter your mailbox number. Your mailbox number is your 7 digit telephone number plus the # sign. You will then be asked to enter your password. Your initial password is 0000 followed by the # sign. You will have to change this password before you go any farther in setting up your mailbox. You can use from 4 to 16 digits in setting up your new password. Please write down your password and keep it in a secure place for future reference.
If you had previously recorded your own greeting, you will need to re-record the greeting in the new equipment. Please refer to the enclosed brochure for instructions on this and other mailbox programming options.
ACCESSING YOUR OLD VOICE MAIL ACCOUNT
To access your old voice mail account and any saved voice messages on or after February 27, 2007, you must dial 683-6833. Your mailbox number is your telephone number plus the # sign; your password will be the same as you used the last time you entered your old mailbox. The old mailbox will be accessible until April 2, 2007.
